Janelle Brown Taft attended Norfolk State University as an undergraduate and Hampton University for graduate school. She has a Bachelor’s of Science and a Master’s of Science in Nursing. She is certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is married with three children that range in age from 7-20 years old. Her current hobbies include reading the Bible, spending time with her family, and being a regular CrossFitter.

Tamika Corprew I am married to my best friend and have three wonderful children. When I’m not working, you can find me reading, shopping, or enjoying my favorite place in the world—the beach.
My nursing journey began in 2006 as a licensed practical nursing student at Wilson Community College. I went on to earn my RN in 2016, and most recently completed my MSN–Family Nurse Practitioner degree through Walden University. I have a passion for diabetes management and education, and I hold a national certification as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. My professional background includes nursing education, public health, and ten years in outpatient primary care with the Department of Veterans Affairs. I’ve also served as a nurse case manager with UNC. These experiences have shaped my commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. I am truly excited to meet my future patients and look forward to partnering with you in your healthcare journey. |

Kayla Smith has been working at WCFP as a nursing assistant since its opening in 2012. A registered nurse, she has experience in administering injections, drawing blood and helping to provide patients with in-home care. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, creating music and spending time with her family and friends.

Charles Taft is the Practice/Quality Manager as well as the Billing Manager. He attended Elizabeth State University as an undergraduate in Chemistry, and Norfolk State University for his graduate degree in Physical Chemistry. He also attended Ashford University and earned an additional Master’s in Health and Business Administration. He is married with three children and enjoys fishing and spending time with his family.
